The place of the Carol I studio is more than dazzling - within the fortified fortress of Axente Sever, also known as Frauendorf. The studio combines a large room and an open interior floor. In total, there are three accommodation places that are more than perfect to help you get going. It is suitable for couples who want to spend a romantic holiday in the city of Axente Sever, as well as for families who have children and wish to spend time together.
The bathroom of the apartment features a relaxing shower and a hairdryer, while within the ground floor you will find a fridge and a TV. Besides that, one of the most important features remains probably the view - due to the fact that it is simply ravishing.
Technically speaking, the studio is located within the defense wall of the old city of Axente Sever. While sneaking a peek on the windows, you will see from there the fortified church that is located within the fortress. During the night time, any visitor can observe how everything is getting bigger, lighter and brighter since the illuminated church offers an incredible static show.

Axente Sever Fortified Church
Medieval Apartments Frauendorf Studios are located just inside the Fortified Fortress of Axente Sever.
Built at the beginning of the 14th century, the fortified church and its defensive walls are still in very good condition today.
Tourists arriving at the fortress can visit the tower where the mechanical clock, installed almost 200 years ago, is still functional. Also within the fortress is the museum which includes a gallery with objects such as cooking tools, folk costumes, weapons, construction and agricultural tools, which reveals the history and tradition of the Saxons who live here. Also here is the gallery of paintings on spider web by the medieval artist Emil Mureșan.
Last but not least, the guests of the fortress are impressed by the church and the still functional organ.
