Accommodation in the former 400-year-old parish house of the fortified church of Valea Viilor
In the former parish house in Valea Viilor, located right across the street of the Fortified Church of Valea Viilor, tourists will find the peace and quiet specific to Saxon houses. The house, built almost 400 years ago, has also an important historical side: it served as the residence of the Saxon Lutheran pastor and historian, Stephan Ludwig Roth, one of the important figures of the 1848 Revolution.
Today, in the parish house, Burg Apartments Meschen, rooms with 2 to 4 beds and a total of 16 beds were organized. Decorated in a traditional style, with authentic Saxon furniture, refurbished, partially over 100 years old, the rooms retain the tradition and charm of old Saxon houses.
At the same time, here tourists will find bathrooms with shower, kitchen with refrigerator, stove and oven, washing machine and dishwasher but also dining room and relaxation room. And those who want to work from this location can do it undisturbed with free high speed internet.
Located right in the courtyard of the Fortified Church, Burg Apartments Meschen, is the ideal place for those who want to visit the fortress of Moşna, want to go hiking or for larger groups who want to relax in a unique place in Transylvania.
Unesco Apartments Wurmloch is located in Valea Viilor, right next to the fortified fortress, Unesco Heritage. The fortress is one of the largest in the area and is kept in very good condition.
Tourists can visit the Clock Tower and the Bacon Tower, but they can also take a walk on the guard road, built right along the fortified walls.
The fortress has a really imposing appearance and due to its defense towers it is also one of the best fortified ensembles.
